To ensure smooth pedestrian flow throughout TaiNEX 2, protect the privacy of creators and participants, and provide a safe and enjoyable event environment for all attendees, the following regulations have been established.
All Cosplayers, photographers, livestreamers, content creators, media representatives, and journalists entering the event venue shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Regulations.
I. Admission & Preparation Area Regulations
- To accommodate exhibitors and creators during booth setup, (including Cosplay booths) may enter the venue daily from 08:30 for preparation and booth setup.
- All Cosplayers, photographers, livestreamers, and members of the press shall also comply with the General Admission Regulations.
- Participants are solely responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings. Before leaving the changing room, please ensure that all personal items have been collected.
- Personal belongings, luggage, and props must not be placed near safety facilities or public access areas, including but not limited to aisles, restrooms, emergency exits, stairways, entrances, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and emergency equipment. Any unattended items found in such locations may be verbally addressed by Event Staff or, if left unattended, relocated to the service desk for safekeeping.
II. Costume & Prop Regulations
The Organizer respects each Cosplayer’s effort to faithfully portray their chosen character. However, as the venue is a public space, all participants must comply with the following requirements to protect themselves and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Exposure Requirements
- Upper-body exposure for female costumes must not exceed one-third (1/3) of the chest area.
- The exposure of intimate body parts, including but not limited to nipples, genital areas, and the gluteal cleft, is strictly prohibited.
- Costume Safety Measures
- Costumes with revealing designs, swimwear, or outfits with extensive skin exposure must include appropriate protective measures, including:
- Non-skin-tone undergarments (to avoid visual misunderstanding);
- Safety shorts;
- Protective tape designed for thong-style costumes;
- Fashion tape or similar fastening methods to prevent accidental exposure.
- Prohibited “Tape-Only” Costumes
- Costumes consisting solely of transparent tape, opaque tape, nipple covers, or other coverings without actual clothing are prohibited.
- Sheer or transparent materials through which intimate body parts remain visibly identifiable shall likewise be regarded as insufficient clothing.
- Moving Around the Venue
- Cosplayers wearing highly revealing costumes should wear a jacket, robe, or other cover-up while walking through public areas, shopping at booths, eating, resting, or engaging in other non-photography activities to maintain personal safety and public etiquette.
- Prohibited Uniforms
- Wearing authentic uniforms of active-duty military personnel, police officers, firefighters, military police, or other official Republic of China (Taiwan) government agencies is strictly prohibited.
- Costumes that violate public decency, cause public alarm, or may constitute a criminal offense (including impersonation of public officials) may result in immediate denial of entry or removal from the venue. The Organizer may also notify the police when appropriate.
- Firearm Props
- Replica firearms equipped with safety mechanisms shall remain on safe mode at all times.
- Magazines must remain empty.
- The muzzle shall always be pointed downward.
- Fingers must never be placed on the trigger.
- Ammunition, batteries, compressed gas, CO₂ cartridges, fuel canisters, or any item capable of enabling projectile discharge are strictly prohibited.
- Large Props & Bladed Weapons
- Real knives, swords, or other regulated weapons with sharpened edges are strictly prohibited.
- Props exceeding 1 meter in length or possessing sharp components shall not be carried while walking inside the venue. Such props must remain disassembled and stored in carrying bags during transportation and may only be assembled at designated locations.
- Venue Cleanliness
- Costumes utilizing wet paint, uncured coatings, liquid effects, fake blood, or any materials capable of staining the venue are prohibited.
- Wig Trimming
- Participants are encouraged to trim wigs before arriving at the venue.
- If trimming is necessary on-site, all hair clippings must be completely cleaned up by the participant.
III. Venue Usage & Changing Room Etiquette
- Please utilize the designated changing rooms provided by the Organizer. Participants should refrain from occupying nearby public restrooms, MRT stations, or neighboring businesses for costume changes. Personal changing tents are not permitted inside the venue.
- Hair sprays, coloring sprays, styling sprays, and similar products should be used with caution to avoid affecting other participants or contaminating the venue.
- Participants shall remain within designated event areas and shall not enter restricted staff-only areas.
- Damage, graffiti, defacement, or misuse of venue facilities, event property, or changing room facilities is strictly prohibited. Any participant responsible for such damage shall bear all restoration and cleaning costs.
- Participants who intentionally damage venue property, seriously disrupt event operations, or refuse to cooperate with Event Staff may have their admission revoked immediately, be required to leave the venue, and, where necessary, the Organizer may request assistance from venue security or the police and pursue all available legal remedies.
IV. Photography, Livestreaming & Community Interaction
- The Organizer provides a designated Cosplayer Photography Area.
- Long-duration photography sessions, repeated posed photography, individual photo shoots, or photography likely to attract crowds shall be conducted exclusively within the designated photography area.
- Photography is strictly prohibited from occupying main aisles, emergency access routes, or directly in front of exhibitor booths.
- Casual commemorative photos, brief interactions, or group photos are welcomed. Participants should voluntarily move to the sides of the aisles and follow the principle of “Take your photo and move on” to avoid obstructing pedestrian traffic.
- Freestanding tripods, lighting stands, light poles, or any ground-mounted photography equipment are prohibited throughout the venue to reduce tripping hazards.
- Handheld lighting equipment is permitted. Assistants may carry portable lighting or reflectors, provided they remain aware of surrounding attendees at all times.
V. Privacy & Community Etiquette
- Prior consent must be obtained before photographing, filming, or livestreaming any individual.
- Unauthorized photography, covert photography, forced photography, harassment, or similar conduct is strictly prohibited. The Organizer will preserve relevant evidence and may request assistance from venue security and the police.
- When conducting photography sessions, participants should carefully adjust camera angles to avoid capturing other Cosplayers or attendees who are changing costumes, resting, eating, or otherwise not participating.
- If photographs prominently feature another identifiable individual, or if the individual requests not to appear publicly, appropriate image blurring or other privacy protection measures shall be applied before publication.
- Photographers and creators are encouraged to include the Organizer’s official hashtag (such as #AuroraComicFestival) and the event date when publishing photographs on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, and similar services.
VI. Independent Media, Commercial Media & Press Coverage
- General Photography:
- Non-commercial personal photography and self-media documentation do not require prior registration.
- Such activities are permitted provided all venue, equipment, and photography regulations are observed.
- Close-up photography of exhibitor booths, displayed merchandise, or products is strictly prohibited without the prior consent of the respective Group or creator.
- Commercial & News Media:
Television stations, commercial media organizations, online media, self-media conducting professional coverage, news agencies, and official partner organizations intending to conduct interviews, filming, or news coverage must obtain a Media Pass from the Organizer before engaging in media activities.
- Media Identification:
All approved media personnel must wear the official Media Pass issued by the Organizer prominently on the front of their clothing throughout the event for identification purposes.
- Intellectual Property Protection:
- When filming general panoramic views of the exhibition hall, media personnel should avoid prolonged focus on any individual booth.
- Prior consent from the booth representative must be obtained before conducting close-up photography, filming merchandise, recording detailed booth content, or conducting interviews with a specific exhibitor.
Disclaimer
If any matters are not specified in these regulations, the Organizer reserves the right of interpretation, supplementation, and final determination regarding these event regulations.
In the event of circumstances involving public safety, government authorities, venue management requirements, or other special situations, the Organizer may adjust relevant management measures according to actual needs.
Any such adjustments will be announced through the official website and social media platforms.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese version and any translated versions of these regulations, the Chinese version shall prevail. All interpretations and decisions shall be based on the Chinese version.

- 若有換裝(妝)需求的同好,禁止長時占用會周邊廁所、捷運站、商家,避免造成他人困擾。
- 若表演角色性別與生理性別不同,請勿進入非自身生理性別相異之廁所。
- 禁止使用任何損壞、汙損場地之道具。
- 修剪假(真)髮,請使用垃圾袋蒐集,否則依整潔條例禁止其行為。
- 禁止使用噴(染)劑,髮膠及噴霧請至空曠區域噴用,勿造成他人困擾。
- 禁止穿著過於暴露之裝扮。如下圖所見。
- 如穿著裙裝,禁止外露內衣褲,請穿著底褲或安全褲、絲襪等避免曝光。
- 如穿著泳裝,請CosPlayer預先準備角色穿著截圖為依據,否則視為過於暴露。
- 禁止裸露敏感部位,如穿著薄紗肉眼仍可見視同沒穿。
- 禁止裝扮軍警消等職業,避免引起恐慌之裝扮、造型。
如裝備不符以上規範,主辦單位有權禁止入場。
禁止穿著中華民國現役軍警消等進入會場。
如情節嚴重者,將報警處裡。
- 如需扮演類持槍枝角色,請關閉保險、清空彈夾,並槍口朝下,
嚴禁將手指置放於板機處。
禁止攜帶、填充可擊發之行為物品(子彈、電池、瓦斯、壓縮氣體等)。
主辦單位有權查驗,該道具是否符合規範。
- 如攜帶刀械或者使用長柄武器道具,請注意周圍環境。
- 禁止攜帶開鋒之刀械。

- 如需拍照、攝影、直播,請使先徵得他人同意,
維護他人隱私,如有強制之行為將依法報警處裡。
- 活動會場內僅限於休息區可拍照,禁止拍攝到活動攤位,如想拍攝務必事先徵求社團同意。
- 如穿著角色衣物,可能違反善良風俗,請事先穿著外套等遮蓋衣物再前往會場,維護自身及全體參加者共同形象。

- 如需拍攝活動會場內攤位全景,請事先申請【媒體採訪證】,請勿著重於特定單位,
如有過於明顯之肖像或當事人其禁止,請於公開前打碼處理,保護他人權益。
請於影片及照片內標明於日期及極光創漫祭之字樣。
- 【媒體採訪證】須於活動期間內全程配戴於胸前,以供辨識。
記者身分
- 請事先向主辦單位申請【媒體採訪證】。主辦單位將發放採訪證後,
方可進行採訪,如拍攝攤位請事先徵得社團攤位同意。
如未經申請【媒體採訪證】進行拍攝,主辦單位有權令行禁止拍攝行為,
若有發現未持【媒體採訪證】進行拍攝,請直接拒絕入鏡並通知工作人員。
如違反以上事項,主辦單位有權要求刪除電磁資料、並強制離場。
